The Student Success Center offers tutoring to John A. Logan College students at no additional cost. The tutoring program is certified through the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). Our program includes a professional math tutor, a professional communications tutor, and several peer tutors, students who can assist with additional program courses as well.
Tutoring is available by appointment or on a drop-in basis. Appointments can be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday. A tutoring request can be completed by visiting the Student Success Center, Room C219, or by filling out a Tutoring Request Form here. By completing the Tutoring Request Form, a weekly appointment will be scheduled with one of the tutors.
Drop-in tutoring is available 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, Room C218F, and also available between 4:00 and 6:00 PM on Tuesday in Room C235D. A student is welcome to “drop-in”, without an appointment, at the Student Success Center and check if a tutor is available for the specific course at that time.
The Biology Help Room is an extension of the STEM Education Center, C235D, and has tutors available on a limited basis. Tutoring is available on a drop-in basis only and the schedule changes each semester. View a downloadable PDF of the Biology Help Room Schedule.
