John A. Logan College has launched a new program with its in-district high schools and private schools to provide last-dollar scholarships to participating students.
Earlier this month, HackVentors brought together some of the most tech-driven high school students from across the region for a day of hands-on learning.
Students from Marion, Herrin, Johnston City, and Carterville High Schools explored AI, built a working FM radio, and got a real look at our Electronics Technology programs.
Huge shoutout to our ELT students and faculty for leading such an incredible experience. 💙
Special thanks to Intertape Polymer Group for sponsoring this year’s event.

Saturday’s Dr. Patchett Eggstravaganza was one for the books! From excited kiddos to our amazing Nursing Club students who put in so much work behind the scenes, this event was full of joy for all from start to finish.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a special day! 💙

300,000. Countless futures. 💙
A generous gift from the FDC Foundation and Frank Cluck is creating new opportunities for JALC students through the Frank and Dorothy Cluck Endowed Scholarship.
From scholarships to emergency support, this investment opens doors for more students to charge into their future.
Thank you to the Cluck family for making a lasting impact on our students and our community.

Two great days on campus…
Last Friday’s Discovery Day and Wednesday’s Humanities Day brought dozens of area high school students to JALC for a real taste of campus life.
From hands-on experiences to meeting our faculty, staff, and students and exploring campus, they got a glimpse of what it’s like to be a Logan Vol.
We hope you discovered something new about yourself and left feeling motivated about what comes next.
These are some of our favorite days, and we love sharing them with future students.
We hope to see you in the halls at John A. Logan College one day! 💙
Coffee. Connections. Careers. 🤝
Nearly 250 participants + 80 employers = A great day at the JALC Job Fair!
Thank you to everyone who made it a success! 👏
