John A. Logan College is dedicated to providing quality support services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. An individual approach is used to accommodate the needs of students. Accommodations include but are not limited to:

  1. Interpreters for classroom lectures and College-related activities and events
  2. Note takers for classroom lectures
  3. Assistive listening devices (ALDs)
  4. C-Print

Contact the Disability Support Services Coordinator, Nikki Brooks, located in C219 for more information.

The ASL Club

As an official College organization, the American Sign Language (ASL) Club provides leadership opportunities for participating students. The club is involved in Deaf-awareness presentations and activities. Monthly club meetings and social events provide the opportunity for students to socialize and become involved in campus-wide activities.
