FALL | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY | IT Support Technician. This position requires a student who can work independently, without direct supervision and have a knowledge of computer hardware/software troubleshooting and repair Experience with A/V (audio/visual) equipment, such as projectors, document cameras, audio mixer systems are preferred, but not required. Ability to analyze and problem solve issues face to face and over the phone. Clearly report computer issues and solutions to users and/or help desk personnel. Must be able to clearly describe computer issues and solutions in writing for entry into work order tracking system. Specific duties include, but not limited to: Provide assistance with installation, troubleshooting, and removal of A/V and/or computing equipment. Assist I.T. staff with daily work order assignments, completion of work order records, monitoring computer labs, assist in helpdesk duties and other duties as assigned. Be able to follow directions and work independently on tasks and projects. Have the desire to learn new tasks that range from simple to complex. Dependable, prompt, and be a team player. Experience with multimedia equipment, such as LCD projectors, document cameras, audio mixer systems are preferred, but not required. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Help with installation, troubleshooting, and removal of A/V (audio/visual) and/or computing equipment. STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER | All Subject Tutors. Provide learning assistance to students experiencing difficulty with a class. Meet with assigned students on a regular basis. Maintain records of tutoring sessions. Have demonstrated knowledge of and competence in the courses you tutor, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. AN A OR B IS REQUIRED TO BE A TUTOR. |
