John A. Logan College offers a variety of athletic programs that give students the opportunity to compete at a high level while pursuing their academic goals. Sports include men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, men’s and women’s golf, and volleyball. The College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Region 24, and our teams proudly represent the Vols (men’s teams) and Lady Vols (women’s teams).

Student-athletes are expected to maintain good academic standing, uphold the standards of sportsmanship, and comply with all College and NJCAA eligibility requirements. Academic support services, including tutoring and advising, are available to help student-athletes balance their studies and athletic commitments.

The Athletics Department also encourages broad student involvement through attending games, supporting teams, and participating in campus spirit events. Admission to most home games is free for students with a valid JALC student ID.

The Student Senate is your student government—amplifying the student voice on campus! Senators meet twice per month to represent student interests, plan campus and community service projects, and encourage student involvement.
