Juneteenth

Welcome to the JALC Juneteenth Celebration

Join us as John A. Logan College honors Juneteenth, a day that marks the freedom of enslaved African Americans and celebrates resilience, culture, and community.

This is a time to educate, serve, and celebrate bringing people together to reflect, connect, and move forward together.

We invite you to be part of this meaningful celebration.

Linda Flowers, President of the NAACP Carbondale Chapter, will be leading the educational and historical components of our Juneteenth celebration.
