Associate in General Studies

The Associate in General Studies is a two-year degree designed to offer a broad education across a variety of subjects. Students typically complete a combination of general education and career and technical education courses. However, this degree is not intended for students planning to transfer to a university, as it does not fulfill the General Education Core Curriculum (GECC) requirements, and career and technical education courses may not be transferable.

Associate in Science

Associate in Arts

The Associate in Arts (AA) is a two-year degree program designed to provide students with a broad foundation in the liberal arts and sciences. It is ideal for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in fields such as education, psychology, business, English, history, communications, and many more.

Facilities Maintenance – AAS Degree

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Facilities Maintenance is designed to prepare students for rewarding careers in building operations, repair, and maintenance. This comprehensive program equips students with the technical skills and knowledge needed to manage and maintain commercial, residential, and industrial facilities.

Media Arts – AA Degree

This is a two-year associates degree program designed to meet the lower level (freshman and sophomore) course requirements of a four-year University for students majoring in Media Arts, Journalism, Radio, Television, Advertising and Digital Media, or Cinema.

Business – AA Degree

This is a two-year associates degree program designed to meet the lower level (freshman and sophomore) course requirements of a four-year University for students majoring in Business Management, Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or Entrepreneurship.

Special Education – AA Degree

This is a two-year associates degree program designed to meet the lower level (freshman and sophomore) course requirements of a four-year University for students majoring in Special Education. Students enrolled in this program plan to transfer into a Teacher Education Program at a university to teach Special Education to grades K-12.

Sociology – AA Degree

This is a two-year associates degree program designed to meet the lower level (freshman and sophomore) course requirements of a four-year University for students majoring in Sociology.

Social Work – AA Degree

This is a two-year associates degree program designed to meet the lower level (freshman and sophomore) course requirements of a four-year University for students majoring in Social Work.
