Criminal Justice Program
The Criminal Justice Program prepares the student for transfer to many universities in the field of criminal justice or administration of justice, including Southern Illinois University, Southeast Missouri State University, Murray State University and many others. Completion of the program satisfies 60 hours toward the 120 hours required for a bachelor’s degree and by many hiring agencies.
Positions in law enforcement – local/ state/ federal/ natural resource/ administrative agencies, courts – security/ administration/ probation, corrections – local/ state/ federal/ parole, juvenile justice – law enforcement/ probation/ corrections, private security – loss prevention/ asset protection/ investigations/ human resource.

The Criminal Justice A.A.S. degree program meets the objectives of students considering careers in policing, the courts, corrections, juvenile justice, and private security, as well as preparing students for transfer and maximizing articulation with baccalaureate programs in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Police Science, etc.
