Adult Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography

The Adult Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at John A Logan College is an accredited, 18 month, full time career program that prepares individuals to become competent, entry level Cardiac Sonographers. The highly active and extensive curriculum consists of academic requirements that are achieved on campus, on line and externships with clinical affiliates.

Dental Assisting

The objective of this program is to develop an individual to assist the dentist in comprehensive patient oral health care and the dental specialties. Students must be educated to understand that patients are complex rational beings moving in a specific environment. To do this, a student must be educated in the clinical and dental sciences.

Emergency Medical Services

Emergency Medical Service (EMS) courses are structured to train students as intermediate and advanced first responders and provide a continuum of training after becoming certified as a basic Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B).

Statement:
The John A Logan College Paramedic program has received a Letter of Review by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). This letter is NOT a CAAHEP accreditation status. Letter of Review is recognized by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) for eligibility to take the NREMT’s Paramedic credentialing examination(s). However, it is NOT a guarantee of eventual accreditation.
