John A. Logan College will resume normal operations on Thursday, Jan. 22, following completion of a construction-related procedure and a complete evaluation by construction officials and engineers.
College officials said the support beam involved in the procedure was assessed and cleared. The College has been given the all-clear to reopen the campus on Thursday, Jan. 22. The following offices will remain temporarily relocated due to construction: Admissions, to E 122; Athletics, to Logan Fitness; JALC Foundation, to F112; Poshard Foundation, to E121; and Conferences and Events, to F110.
Due to construction-related restroom accessibility issues, the men’s basketball game scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 21, has been postponed. The game will be rescheduled later; the announcement will be made once confirmed.
Students, faculty, staff, and visitors may resume regular campus activities on Thursday.
