I chose JALC to pursue my educational career in elementary education because of the small class sizes, campus activities, and affordability!
I chose JALC because I wanted to have a smoother transition into the college life. Being able to go to a community college lets you explore your career options at a cheaper price. Community college saved a ton of stress, money, and risk!
I chose JALC because of the amazing people and the strong sense of community. The smaller class sizes let me build close relationships with my classmates and professors. It’s also affordable and close to home, which helps me stay connected with family and friends.
John A. Logan College has launched a new program with its in-district high schools and private schools to provide last-dollar scholarships to participating students.

We loved having this crew from Crab Orchard on campus Tuesday for New Student Orientation! Students spent the day meeting our team, getting their questions answered, and checking off their to-do lists before starting classes this fall.
