My absolute favorite part of being a student at JALC was the friendly environment the staff and professors made on campus.
Because of JALC, I have grown into a more confident student, leader, and future nurse who is excited to make a difference.
The student organizations are the part of John A. that really boosted my confidence and made me get back into the swing of school.
Because of John A. Logan College, I feel like I have more of a family.
JALC has an incredibly supportive community and provides students with many opportunities for personal and professional growth.
The Southern Illinois Celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Days will return to the John A. Logan College campus Sept. 26-27, bringing outdoor enthusiasts together for a weekend of hunting, fishing, demonstrations, entertainment, and family activities.

Be a “Vol”unteer in our Student Cardiac Sonography Lab at 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. every Tuesday from September 8 through October 13.

Spots are limited, and your appointment is not confirmed until the program calls you with additional instructions.
Volunteers must be 18 or older and sign a waiver. Scans are performed by JALC students, reviewed by an experienced cardiac sonographer and provided for educational purposes only. They are not interpreted by a cardiologist, and no medical reports or images will be provided.
