Coordinator of Digital Marketing

Description:

The Coordinator of Digital Marketing will assist the Assistant Vice President of Marketing, Public Relations, and Communications and the Manager of Digital Communications with online content, organize social media sites, create online content, analyze digital marketing campaigns, graphic design, and manage email campaigns.

Essential Functions & Position Duties:

  • Creates and optimizes content across digital and social media platforms that meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations
  • Turn around deliverables quickly and handle multiple revisions and fluctuating deadlines positively and efficiently
  • Assists with marketing campaigns, including production and publicity photos
  • Assists with developing and maintaining social media sites
  • Conduct reviews of migrated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines

Non-essential Functions of the Position:

  • Other duties as assigned. Duties must be performed on the John A. College Campus or designated location

Required Qualifications:

Education required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, integrated marketing, digital media, graphic design, or related field

Experience required:

  • Web Editing: Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) to update websites
  • Photography: Experience using a DSLR or Bridge camera and experience editing photos
  • Photoshop: Proficient in Photoshop
  • Video: Experience shooting and editing video
  • Social Media: Experience posting to multiple social media accounts and knowledge of current trends in social media marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience preferred:

  • Two or more years of experience in marketing and digital communication
  • Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts for an organization or private business

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Visual content creation, including photography and videography (for social media posts, reels, etc.)
  • Social media platforms (including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube), best practices, scheduling tools) and analytics
  • Web content management
  • Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday 

Salary range starts at: $40,000
