General Commencement Information
John A. Logan College will hold the Fifty-Seventh Commencement on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at TBA in the TBA.
TBA Due to limited seating, the College will hold two ceremonies. The Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Engineering Science, and Associate in Fine Arts degrees ceremony will be held at 9:00 a.m. The Associate in Applied Science and certificate ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. Seating is based on a first-come-first-serve basis. Additional seating with a live video stream will be available in TBA.
To order your graduation regalia, go to Balfour Build-A-Grad. Cap, gown, and tassel will cost $17.00. Students have the option to ship to campus for free or ship to home for $12.95. If students choose ship to campus, the campus General Store will notify students of a pick-up date. The deadline to order your graduation regalia is March 29, 2026. Students may decorate graduation caps for the commencement ceremony. Please check your student Volmail for regalia details and other graduation updates. Students can contact the JALC General Store regarding cap and gown pick-up at 618-985-2828, ext. 8127. The General Store will notify students by Volmail when regalia is ready for pick up.

A cap decorating contest will be held at TBA for the Transfer Ceremony and at TBA for the CTE Ceremony. All who wish to participate are welcome, and each winner will receive an Amazon gift card.
