John A. Logan College Officially Launches Major Construction Project that Will Reshape the Campus

The ground may have already been broken, but John A. Logan College officials gathered Tuesday evening to ceremonially kick off a major construction project that will redefine the College’s primary entrance and create a modern, expanded hub for students and visitors.

Due to Construction, JALC Home Basketball Attendees Must Use the North Gym Entrance

John A. Logan College officials announced that, due to the ongoing West Lobby construction project, all attendees for upcoming home men’s and women’s basketball games must enter through the North Entrance of the Donald L. Brewer Gymnasium.

John A. Logan College has honored longtime educator Dr. Marilyn Toliver by naming the College’s Head Start Room the Dr. Marilyn Toliver Room in recognition of her more than four decades of service in education, including 33 years leading the College’s Early Childhood Education Program.

JALC Nursing Department to Host Not-So-Scary Trick-or-Treat Event October 18

The John A. Logan College Nursing Club will host its annual “Not-So-Scary Trick or Treat” event on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the College’s main campus in Carterville. The family-friendly event will take place at the West Main Entrance, the Conference Center, Brewer Gymnasium, and Bechtel Community Health Education Complex.
