John A. Logan College has launched a new program with its in-district high schools and private schools to provide last-dollar scholarships to participating students.
Big win for the Vols in Springfield! 🏛️
The John A. Logan College Model Illinois Government Team has been named Outstanding Small Delegation at this year’s competition.
The team also brought home three major individual awards:
🏆 Outstanding First Year Delegate in the House: Troy Robinson
🏆 Outstanding First Year Delegate in the Senate: Rachel McClerren
🏆 Outstanding Original Legislation: Cort Hooven
Several students were also elected to leadership roles during the conference:
• Troy Robinson – House Minority Leader
• Rachel McClerren – Majority Whip
• Adam Wallace – Treasurer
Additionally, Jaxson Buckman, Jordan Coates, Lucas Ratcliff, Troy Robinson, and Adam Wallace were elected committee spokespersons.
Troy Robinson also reached the competition maximum in individual points (3).

Kaden will be joining us this fall at John A. Logan College as a Student Ambassador, where he plans to study General Studies, and will receive two years of tuition free thanks to the JALC Foundation.
