Published on February 10, 2026

The John A. Logan College Nursing Program has received official notification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation confirming outstanding licensure examination pass rates for 2025, far exceeding both state and national averages.

According to IDFPR data, JALC’s Practical Nursing program achieved a 100% licensure pass rate, while the Associate Degree Nursing program reported a 98% pass rate.

“These outcomes reflect the strength of our curriculum, the dedication and expertise of our faculty, and the commitment of our students,” said Dr. Kristen Yosanovich, Dean of Health Sciences and Director of Nursing. “Our graduates complete the program with a strong foundation in nursing practice and are prepared to deliver safe, competent, and effective patient care. As the demand for qualified nurses continues to grow, JALC Nursing graduates are well-positioned to fill critical roles and support the health care needs of our communities.”

The JALC Nursing Department offers both full-time and part-time program options to meet the needs of students pursuing a career in nursing. Applications for upcoming cohorts are currently being accepted through March 2, 2026.
