John A. Logan College will host the 49th Annual AutumnFest Holiday Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, November 8, and Sunday, November 9, on the College’s main campus in Carterville. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The annual show showcases a diverse range of handcrafted arts, crafts, and specialty foods from regional artisans and vendors. Shoppers can browse a wide selection of holiday décor, handmade gifts, jewelry, baked goods, and more, making it the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
In addition to the arts and crafts show, the College will also present the holiday musical Home for the Holidays, directed by Chris Thornton, in the O’Neil Auditorium. Performance times include a special matinee on Friday, November 7, at 10 a.m.; a noon performance on Saturday, November 8; and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, November 9.
“AutumnFest is one of our longest-running community traditions, and this year’s combination of handmade art, seasonal foods, and holiday music makes it an ideal way to start the season,” said Chris Naegele, Director of Events and Conferences.
Admission to AutumnFest is $5, and concessions will be available for purchase.
