John A. Logan College has been named one of the top 200 community colleges in the nation eligible to apply for the 2027 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the most prestigious recognition of high achievement and performance among America’s community colleges.
Thursday was a national celebration of first generation college students, and we took the opportunity to recognize our First-Gen Vols. 💙
Students, faculty, and staff added their names to our TRiO First-Gen Tree, representing hard work, pride, and perseverance.

Get into the holiday spirit with our student and staff choir performing Home For The Holidays! 🎶🎅 Catch a show on Friday 10 a.m. (matinee), Saturday 12 p.m., and Sunday 2 p.m. in O’Neil Auditorium.
🎄Then check out AutumnFest, happening all weekend long. 100+ vendors, handmade gifts, décor, specialty foods, pictures with Santa, kid’s crafts, entertainment, and prizes.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the JALC campus. Entrance is $5 per person and gets you in to both.
