John A. Logan College is continuing its enrollment momentum, with college officials announcing increases in both year-to-year and summer enrollment as the institution prepares to welcome students for the Fall 2026 semester.
Starting college can feel like a lot. New classes, new people, new expectations, and maybe even a little voice wondering if you can really do this. Don’t give up.
When Caroline Farthing first started welding, she hated it. She felt like everyone around her was better, and she wanted to quit.
But she didn’t.
With encouragement from her family, Caroline kept practicing, often welding for hours after school.
Eventually, the thing she once wanted to walk away from became something she loved.
Caroline went on to study Welding Technology at John A. Logan College and today has a successful career as a welder.
As we head into a new semester, remember: You don’t have to have it all figured out on day one. Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep going.
You can do hard things, Vols. We`re here to help! 💙

⚾️ What a great night at the ballpark!
John A. Logan College employees and their families enjoyed an evening together cheering on the Thrillbillies, including several current John A. Logan Baseball players competing this summer. It was a fun opportunity to connect outside of campus while supporting our student-athletes. @thrillbilliesofficial @loganvolsbball
A special thank you to the John A. Logan College Board of Trustees for providing this wonderful evening for our employees and their families.
We truly appreciate your continued support of our College and the people who make it such a special place. 💙
