CARTERVILLE – The Logan Defenders cyber security computer team will host a free Kids’ Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the college.

Sessions will cover coding and decoding (encryption) made easy – with CDs and puzzle games. Kids will be also taught how to keep their phones and other mobile devices safe from predators. Safety with gaming will also be a topic.

Flashdrives will be awarded to all attendees. Snacks and a lunch will also be provided.

Computer Information Systems instructor and club sponsor, Mark Rogers, will provide a session for parents on preventing and dealing with cyber bullying and cyber safety.

Registration for the event will be held outside of Room B75 on Saturday morning.
