CARTERVILLE – Five John A. Logan College volleyball players were selected Great Rivers Athletic All-Conference, while two of the five were chosen All-Region 24 based on their play last fall.

Named First Team All-GRAC for the Vols were sophomore outside hitter Kasey Krough (Carbondale) and sophomore middle hitter Casey Kuechle (Collinsville). They were joined by Mili Zmiric and Naomi Gray of Lake Land and Kelsey Stauder and Chelsea Crocker of Kaskaskia.

Picked to the Second Team were: sophomore setter Kacey Wahlig (Freeburg); sophomore libero Morgan Mueller (Perryville, Mo.) and freshman outside hitter Audrey Vaughn (Murphysboro). They were joined by Brooke Eisenbath and Michaela Montgomery of Lake Land and Trenice Greer of Southwetern Illinois.

Cleuza Porto of Lake Land was named “Player of the Year” in the league, while Alicia Halleman of Kaskaskia was picked as “Freshman of the Year.”

Krough and Mueller were also picked All-Region, as were Porto, Zmiric, Gray, Halleman and Crocker.
