Academic Advisement – Register for your classes and meet with your academic advisor to discuss your academic plan.
Financial Aid – This session will allow you to have an individual meeting with a financial aid advisor to discuss documents needed to complete your financial aid file, your financial aid award letter, the financial aid refund process, how to purchase books/supplies with financial aid, and any financial aid questions you may have.
Campus Resources – This session will provide you with the opportunity to learn about all of the resources JALC has to offer you! Learn about scholarships, student employment opportunities, clubs/organizations, the best study spots, how to navigate campus, free tutoring, disability support services, and more. You can also have your student ID and library card made if you haven’t had an opportunity to do that already.
Campus Technology/D2L – This sessions helps explain how to access your student portal MyJALC, student email, student calendar, course schedule, and our online learning platform D2L.
Campus Tour – Tours will leave every 30 minutes from West Entrance/Main Entrance.

Additional Information

I am interested in a follow-up day this summer to receive additional information, campus resources, and attend a kickoff event prior to the start of Fall semester.
