Mary Logan High School, (Social Studies Instructor)

Description:

Responsible for the daily instruction of high school social studies courses to include United States History, World History, and U.S. Government & Civics. To monitor and report daily student attendance and academic progress. The ability to establish rapport with students, families, and staff. Organizational and classroom management skills are required. The ability to enforce and uphold the philosophies and expectations of MLHS.  Classes meet during the 8:15 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. school day, in two-hour sessions.  Some evenings (PT Conferences) may be required.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Teaching experience along with the development and implementation of course curriculum is preferred. Seeking applicants motivated to work with non-traditional high school students to assist in retention and diploma completion.

Hours:  Monday – Friday, 2-4 hours during the school day

Salary:  $21/per contact hour
