Description:
- Develop, foster, and maintain relationships with apprentices, mentorees and the employers
- Oversee all activities of the Trades School Grant
- Compile and complete required documentation for all reporting bodies including but not limited to federal and state reporting
- Maintain and analyze detailed reports on apprentices with the purpose of reporting on Department of Labor (DOL) benchmarks
- Develop, organize, schedule, and execute standardized orientation for student apprentice mentoring program
- Communicate with external stakeholders to ensure apprentices are meeting DOL benchmarks and employer standards
- Utilize accurate data collection and entry of apprentice information
- Other duties as assigned
- Duties must be performed on John A. Logan College campus or designated location
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in workforce development, corporate training, business, management, public administration, marketing, communication, social work, education, or a related field
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in a workforce development, corporate training, education, public service, or business environment, including at least two (2) years serving in a lead, supervisory, or management role
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in workforce development, corporate training, business, management, public administration, marketing, communication, social work, education, or a related field
- Five (5) years of related work experience with registered apprenticeships
- Experience in professional training, or staff development
