John A. Logan College is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position in Accounting and Business to begin Fall 2025. The College, a community college located in southern Illinois, is dedicated to enriching lives through learning and community engagement and is committed to providing a supportive learning environment that fosters close collaboration between students and faculty members. Education & Experience Requirements
Education Required: Master’s degree in Accounting with 18 graduate hours in Business or Master’s degree in Business with 18 graduate hours in Accounting
Experience Required: 2,000 hours of work experience in the field of Accounting
Education Preferred: Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or similar
Experience Preferred: Experience in post-secondary teaching, particularly in a community college, experience in teaching in multiple instructional modalities (e.g., online, hybrid, hyflex), experience in curriculum development.
