• Instruct students in Pre-GED and GED preparation
• Responsible for teaching common core standards curriculum
• Preparing students for the GED including but not limited to: math, language arts, science, social studies, and career development
• Utilize a variety of appropriate instructional strategies in a multi-level environment
• Monitor attendance and complete paperwork as required
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with non-traditional students
• Teaching experience in math, reading, English, science, social studies, life skills
• Some experience with individualized instruction

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Du Quoin

8:30 am – 11:30 am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in West Frankfort

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Herrin 

Salary range starts at: $21.00 per contact hour
