SPRING | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY | IT Support Technician. This position requires a student who can work independently, without direct supervision and have a knowledge of computer hardware/software troubleshooting and repair Experience with A/V (audio/visual) equipment, such as projectors, document cameras, audio mixer systems are preferred, but not required. Ability to analyze and problem solve issues face to face and over the phone. Clearly report computer issues and solutions to users and/or help desk personnel. Must be able to clearly describe computer issues and solutions in writing for entry into work order tracking system. Specific duties include, but not limited to: Provide assistance with installation, troubleshooting, and removal of A/V and/or computing equipment. Assist I.T. staff with daily work order assignments, completion of work order records, monitoring computer labs, assist in helpdesk duties and other duties as assigned. Be able to follow directions and work independently on tasks and projects. Have the desire to learn new tasks that range from simple to complex. Dependable, prompt, and be a team player. LOGAN FITNESS | Lifeguard. Prevention of injury through surveillance of pool patrons and enforcement of rules. Emergency Response provides appropriate standard of care. Secondary duties as described in Lifeguard Manual. Some shifts may also be assigned to the supervisor's desk. Lifeguard supervisor will monitor patrons entering the pool to ensure proper registration. MUST BE LIFEGUARD CERTIFIED. | |
STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER | All Subject Tutors. Provide learning assistance to students experiencing difficulty with a class. Meet with assigned students on a regular basis. Maintain records of tutoring sessions. Have demonstrated knowledge of and competence in the courses you tutor, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. AN A OR B IS REQUIRED TO BE A TUTOR. | |
SUMMER | ACADEMIC AFFAIRS | Secretary. Receptionist's duties, including but not limited to, answering phones, taking messages, greeting visitors, students, and staff; posting class cancellation notices; filing, copying, distribution of paperwork; word processing on computer; on-campus deliveries; dealing with confidential matters; making coffee/ tea; general housekeeping duties (dusting, washing dishes, minor cleaning). MULTIPLE POSITIONS. MUST BE AVAILABLE IN THE MORNING. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. |
BUSINESS OFFICE | Secretary. Scan Account Payable check records is the primary duty. Filing, copying, answer phones, open mail. Other duties as assigned. MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL WORK-STUDY. MUST BE AVAILABLE FROM 10AM-2PM. | |
CAREER SERVICES | Secretary. Typing, filing, keeping job list updated, put job list on bulletin boards on campus, copying, making Journey and resume appointments, assisting students, reception, phones and running errands. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. | |
COMMUNITY EDUCATION | Secretary. Answering phones, greeting clients and students, data entry, typing, copying, filing, ordering supplies, running errands on campus, assisting with mailings, stocking supplies, prepare instructor packets, working with spreadsheets, using the Time Clock system. MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL WORK-STUDY. MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY TO THURSDAY FROM 8AM TO 4:30PM. | |
DUAL CREDIT | Secretary. Provide office coverage, answer phones, and use customer service skills to communicate via phone, answer general student inquiries, schedule appointments, organize and scan paperwork into Webex, update student database, file registration forms and other department documents, assist with meeting preparation, use customer service to greet students and parents arriving for appointments, other general office work. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. | |
LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER | Office Assistant. This position will greet visitors, answer phones, take messages, sort and distribute mail, keep general office area clean and orderly, maintain materials and fill copy machines, keep Scantron forms counted and available for use, general coverage of the office, and other duties as assigned within the Learning Resources Center. Student should be familiar with D2L, preferably someone who has experience using D2L. | |
STUDENT LIFE | Secretary. General clerical duties include providing office coverage, answering phones, answers general student inquiries, photocopying, on-campus errands, and computer work (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet browser, scheduling software, and other programs). Assist with club information and activities and club deposits including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions from time to time. Assist with student life activities that the department programs such as special events. Assist with recruitment promotional items such as preparing swag bags and folders for new student orientation days. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. | |
TESTING SERVICES | Secretary. Answer phones. Fill out demographic information on students wanting to take Compass. Answer questions regarding our Allied Health programs. Make copies and file as needed. Keep the office area clean and tidy. Assist with test preparation. Design office bulletin board. Assist students applying to take entrance exams for Allied Health program admission. Other duties as assigned. FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE. | |
