Learning Lab (JALC Campus) Room C-227 The Learning Lab serves along with your instructor as an information point for the course. You may pick up your course packet here. In some classes examinations and tests will be given in the Learning Lab. Learning Lab hours are: 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday and 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Required Computer Equipment and Software The computer must be a Pentium class processor with at least 32 MB of RAM. It must have Windows 95 or above for operating system software, and set screen resolution to at least 800 x 600. It is recommended that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or Netscape 4.7. These Internet browsers are available free at the following Internet address: http://instruction.jal.cc.il.us/blackboard/instructions/software_downloads.html Please do not use Netscape Browser 6.0 with your online course. Other computers, such as Power Macintoshes, may also be used for online instruction. However, they are not supported by the College and the College may not be able to provide technical support.
