Angela Calcaterra works as a Deaf & Hard of Hearing Facilitator and Academic Advisor for the Student Success Center. She attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where she earned a B.A. in Foreign Languages, specializing in Classics, in 1994, and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Administration and Services in 1999.
Angela's husband, David Cochran, is a Professor of History at JALC. Two of her stepchildren, Ian and Rachel, live with them. The third, Jessica, attends the University of Texas at Austin. A true animal lover, Angela has four cats and volunteers at a local humane shelter.
