Please print this page for quick reference.
Step 1

In the field for the User Name you need to use a prefix. Please make your prefex and User Name all in lower case as shown on the left. The prefix will help us for record keeping purposes. So, if you are from a high school in England you should use the prefix of uk, then select a User Name (example: robert123). Your entire User Name, in this example, would be uk_robert123. The underscore between uk and the User Name is created by holding down the shift key and pressing the minus key). If you are in the Herrin School District use hr in front of your User Name and the underscore. Carbondale students use cd, Vienna students us vi, Marion use mr, Murphysboro, use mb, and Edwardsville students use ed, then the underscore and User Name.

When you go to the Create New Account page, please only fill in the blanks that have a red dot (indicated at left). There will be many other blank lines below on that screen, but there is no need to fill that in

Press the button on the right to go and create your account, then return to this page to log into Blackboard.

When you have returned from creating your Blackboard account, click the button below to enroll into the Blackboard course. Once you have arrived at the Self Enrollment page, simply press the submit button in the right corner, and this will take you on into the class.

Now that you have an account and are enrolled into the class, you can join in the Blackboard discussion whenever you wish by going to the regular Blackboard login page at: http://logan.blackboard.com/
When you first log back into Blackboard you will see a page like the one above. This is called the "My Institution" page. As you can see, on the left there is a Tool box, which allows you to do several things, like editing your personal information or sending an email. On the right you will see the link going to the International High School's project, just click on that link (shown circled in red) and you will enter the class.
