John A. Logan College is ready to rock to the sounds of FREEDOM. From the U.S. Navy in Memphis, Tennessee, the active duty Sailors of FREEDOM will present a concert on Tuesday, October 30, at 7 p.m. in the College's Conference Center. The event is free and open to the public, and concessions will be available.
FREEDOM performs pop, rhythm and blues, classic and modern rock, as well as country music. The band is composed of some of the Navy's finest musicians, and its rousing, high-energy show will strike a chord with young and old.
"This is the first time FREEDOM has performed at the College, and I'm really looking forward to the show," said Adrienne Barkley Giffin, director of student activities and cultural events. "I've heard many positive things about the group, and I think our students and community members will all enjoy the concert."
