Logan to Hold Student Leadership Program on April 15

The John A. Logan College Student Senate is sponsoring a program called How to Beat Your "Yikes!" Response on Tuesday, April 15, at 11 a.m. in the Dining Room Annex. Peg Falcone, a development director with Southern Illinois Regional Social Services, will be the keynote speaker. The event is free and open to all Logan students.

"I'm going to be speaking about stress and how to manage it," Falcone said. "I hope to have a good discussion with the students about the issues and concerns they're facing."

"Peg was a presenter at the Women's Health Conference last fall and did an excellent job," said Adrienne Barkley Giffin, co-advisor of the Student Senate and director of student activities at Logan. "I think this program will be very beneficial to students, and I encourage them to attend."
