John A. Logan College Night at Rent One Park

John A. Logan College officials want Rent One Park, home of the Southern Illinois Miners, to be a sea of blue on Saturday, June 14. The 7:05 game will be a night for alumni, friends and employees to "pack" the stadium for an evening of food, fun and surprises. The event will mark the official kick-off of the College's Alumni Association.

College President Robert Mees feels that this is a great venue for the kick-off. "With over twenty-three thousand graduates' the alumni association will give individuals an opportunity to stay in touch with former class mates and staff, and to continue to be a part of the Logan family," said Mees.

Cost for the event is fifteen dollars per person and includes an all-u-can eat buffet, use of the Golden Corral Fun Zone, on-field promotions and giveaways, participation in pre-game batting practice, and admission to a post game concert. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the John A. Logan College Foundation. Reserved chair seating is limited and will be given out on a first come first served basis. Once they are gone, seating will be assigned to the picnic areas and lawn seats.
