Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn will be at John A. Logan College on Tuesday, September 18 as part of the College's effort to recognize and celebrate the U.S. Constitution. He will speak from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. in Room F119.
Perry Knop, professor of political science, was instrumental in bringing Quinn to Logan.
"I have known the Lieutenant Governor for many years and have found him to be an entertaining and thoughtful speaker," Knop said. "We are very lucky to have him joining us at John A. Logan College to speak on the importance of the U.S. Constitution. Pat Quinn brings to the College a unique perspective on the U.S. Constitution, drawing on his experiences as a lawyer, a community organizer, and as an Illinois Constitutional officeholder."
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Perry Knop at 618-985-2828 or 618-457-7676, Ext. 8353 or by e-mail at perryknop@jalc.edu.
