Dr. Matthew Therrell, professor, department of geography, paleoclimatologist, at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, discussed "the history of climate change" during the International High School Conference held at John A. Logan College Tuesday, April 29. The theme of the conference was "Global Issues: Sustainable Solutions." Dr. Deborah Payne, dean for instruction at John A. Logan College, helped to organize the event.
