Earth Week at John A. Logan College

John A. Logan College faculty, students, and staff will observe Earth Week April 21 through 25. A number of activities are scheduled including a Bioneers DVD presentation focusing on award winning business owners who have gone "green" as well as, community arts pioneers, design scientist and human rights activists on Tuesday, April 22 from 11-1:30 in the Dining Rom Annex. Attendees are welcome to bring or purchase their lunch from the JALC cafeteria. On Wednesday, April 23 from 10 AM until noon, the Biology Club will be holding its annual plant sale in the cafeteria area. Money collected will go towards a scholarship used for Biology Travel Study Courses. Anyone wanting to donate plants, should contact Donna ford, Ext. 463.
