Logan to Host College Leadership Forum

The John A. Logan College Student Senate is sponsoring a forum called Meet Your College Leaders on Tuesday, October 9 at 11 a.m. in the Tarvin Room. The event is free and open to all Logan students and staff.

The panelists for the program include Logan Board of Trustees members Mr. William Kilquist, Chair, and Rev. David Hancock, Vice-Chair, and the officers of the College: Dr. Robert Mees, President; Dr. Larry Peterson, Vice-President for Administration; Dr. Julia Schroeder, Vice-President for Instruction; and Mr. Brad McCormick, Vice-President for Business. The panelists will discuss their respective roles at the College and will share leadership advice with the students.

Adrienne Barkley Giffin, director of student activities and cultural events, helped organize the forum and encourages all students to attend.

"This will be a great opportunity for our students to meet our top administrators and board members and find out what they actually do at the College," she said. "The students will be able to ask questions and learn from people who are already in leadership roles."
