Logan Hosts Region 24 Division I Baseball Tournament May 10-13

The John A. Logan College baseball team finished the regular season with an overall record of 37-12 and placed second in the conference with a mark of 17-6. The Volunteers will open post-season play when they host the 2007 Region 24 Division I Baseball Tournament on May 10-13.

Action at the double-elimination region tournament gets underway on Thursday, May 10 at 9 a.m. when No. 3 seed Wabash Valley College plays No. 4 seed Olney Central College. No. 1 seed Lincoln Trail College will play No. 6 seed Southwestern Illinois College at 12 p.m., and No. 2 seed Logan will face No. 5 seed Rend Lake College at 3 p.m.
