Area Artist to Display Work at John A. Logan College

Carmen Clark has been teaching art to children and adults for over 25 years and on Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the public will have an opportunity to view some of the artwork of her students. The students are from all over southern Illinois and range in age from 6 to 86, some are beginners and others have been painting for many years. Original paintings, portraits, landscapes, wildlife and still life will be on display in rooms F118 and F119 in the Hancock Center at John A. Logan College. The students use a variety of mediums including pencil, charcoal, watercolor, pastels, oil and acrylics.

This year's event will feature Special entertainment by Carmen=s grandsons, Robby Clark-Stokes and Matthew Basler, who will sing and play guitar. Refreshments will be served and admission is free. Clark and the artist will be on hand to answer questions.
