ROBINSON – The John A. Logan Volunteers led from the opening tip until the final buzzer in claiming a 93-61 road win over Lincoln Trail on Wednesday night.

The Vols, who had lost a couple of games by not being able to hold leads got the Statesmen down and never let up.  Leading 42-32 at the half, the Vols outscored LTC 16-6 over the first six minutes of the second half and was never threatened again.

The Volunteers, 12-5 and 4-3, were led by Chad Culbreath with 20 points, 18 in the first half. Jalen Perry also had 20 while Allen Billinger added 14, Will Robinson scored 12, and Rashaun Richardson chipped in 10.

Lincoln Trail, 3-9 and 2-6, was led by Mike Beaty with 19.
