Two Former Vols Sign Pro Deals

CARTERVILLE - Two former John A. Logan College baseball players have signed professional contracts following their college seasons.
Righthanded pitcher Luke Shearrow has signed with the Chicago White Sox and righthander Pat Kaminska has signed with the Texas Rangers..
Kaminska played for the Vols in 2010 and 2011. Shearrow played at Logan in 2011 and 2012 to help lead Logan to back-to-back Region 24 titles.
Shearrow, listed at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, attended Southeast Missouri State University after leaving Logan and then transferred a second time to Lindsey Wilson College as a senior. He is a native of Machesney Park.
Kaminska, who is listed as 6-foot-3, 216, competed for Central Michigan University after his tenure at Logan. He is a native of Naperville and now resides in Phoenix.
