Adrienne Barkley Giffin

Adrienne has worked at the College since 2000 first as Curator then Coordinator of Museum and now Director of Activities.  She holds a master in public administration degree with a concentration in museum administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale .  She served as secretary for the Illinois Association of Museums’ board of directors and as chair of the membership committee.  Adrienne is currently the President of the Southern Illinois Association of Museums.

Adrienne enjoys serving southern Illinois by providing exhibitions and programs that explore the region’s unique culture.  “I want southern Illinoisans to appreciate our arts, history, and natural history.  We should be proud of our uniqueness; we should learn and benefit from it.”
