Distance Learning and Online Instruction
Distance Learning at the College includes online instruction and telecourses. Online instruction includes courses taught entirely on the Internet, as well as classroom courses supplemented with online material. Telecourses have been part of the College’s learning environment for many years. Students receive “telecourse packets” which include videotapes of lesson programs in addition to other self–paced material. Students who can set goals and feel secure outside the traditional classroom setting generally do well with telecourses.
