John A. Logan College Library Oral History Project

*** John A. Logan College was established by public mandate in September 1967 and will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary in September 2007.  A comprehensive, public community college serving the southern tip of Illinois , John A. Logan College has been known throughout its history for academic quality and excellent management of fiscal resources.

***In honor of the upcoming Anniversary and in conjunction with the preservation of the College archival materials, oral history interviews were conducted with charter members of the faculty, officers of the College and staff.  Other faculty members have responded to a questionnaire about their memories of the establishment of the College.
