Full-Time; Non-Teaching Professional; Grade 5

Responsible for overseeing College and Foundation revenue sources including student tuition and fees, financial aid receivables, property taxes, CPPRT, interest income, sales and service fees, facilities revenue, commissions, gifts, donations, and other income; supervise three accounting clerks on a daily basis and evaluate them on a periodic basis; oversee student billing, student payments, tuition refunds, waivers, and scholarships; responsible for maintaining internal controls related to protecting revenue; work with third party agencies to maintain and improve student payment plans, student card services, and debt collections; maintain student account restrictions; oversee issuance of 1098T’s; responsible for the proper timing and application of revenue recognition rules; responsible for cash management and reconciliation; prepare comparative financial information as requested including revenue trend analysis; assist with revenue and carryover projections in preparation of annual College budget including GFOA budget submission; assist with annual IPEDS report related to federal student financial aid programs; ICCB reports and surveys related to revenue recognition; assist with reporting for Indirect Cost proposal; oversee reporting and return of unclaimed property; maintain knowledge base of College’s ERP system including coordination of job requests; work as needed with independent auditor to facilitate annual examination of records; analysis of facilities income, fundraising, commissions, rental and other income; coordinate with Institutional Research on student satisfaction surveys; perform internal audit duties as required; serve on College committees as assigned; other duties as assigned.


Require's a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; two or three years of acceptable revenue management or student billing experience.  Master's degree in accounting or related field; one year of acceptable accounting and supervisory experience is preferred.


$41,368 - $51,710 (salary commensurate with education and experience per salary schedule)
