Adobe Flash and Shockwave Players
Adobe Flash Player allows you to view Flash content on web pages.
Adobe Shockwave Player allows you to view Shockwave content on web pages.
Adobe Reader
Click here to download a Free copy of Adobe Reader. This allows you to read .pdf files commonly used for large text and image files.
Audacity
Audacity is a FREE audio recorder. You may also download the additional files if you wish to turn the recorded Audacity files into MP3 files.
Internet Explorer 7
Internet Explorer 7 is Microsoft’s web browser. It more closely integrates with other Microsoft software than does Netscape. We currently recommend this web browser for use with our online classes.
Irfanview
Irfanview enables you to make screen captures, scan images and alter the images to some extent and make slideshows.
Microsoft FREE Viewers
Download Microsoft’s Word 2003 Viewer to view .doc files created in Microsoft Word.
Download Microsoft’s PowerPoint Viewer to view .ppt files created in MicroSoft PowerPoint.
Downloading and installing Microsoft Office 2007 Compatibility Pack will let you view and edit Office 2007 files using Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003.
Open Office
Open Office is a suite of Office products, such as: a word processor, spreadsheet, slide presentation, drawing software and a database manager. Caution: This is a large download.
ZipGenius
ZipGenius is FREE software for compressing files. It not only zips and unzips but also offers support for 21 compression and encoding and decoding formats.
