Blackboard Help
As user assistance varies greatly based on your course role, Blackboard support is divided between student and faculty assistance. Students support is handled by the JALC Learning Lab (Room C228), while faculty support is provided by Learning Resource Center.

Course Content Problem?
If you are having trouble with the course content, such as lesson material, tests, etc., you should email your instructor as soon as possible.
Each instructor provides their email address at the beginning of the semester or you can simply type their first and last name followed by @jalc.edu. For exampe: johndoe@jalc.edu.
Network Problem?
Sometimes students experience a problem and get disconnected from Blackboard. Some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) will disconnect a user for lack of activity after 10 minutes or less. You will need to contact your ISP if you experience any problems with connectivity during your coursework.
If you have computer problems you will need to consult your manual and/or contact a computer technician. John A. Logan College does not provide support for student computer problems.
If computer issues are causing a delay in your online course work you need to contact your instructor as soon as possible to let them know about your situation.
