Computer Science is a broad, multidisciplinary field with many career prospects available. There are two curriculums designed for students in this program. The Business Concentration option will transfer to baccalaureate programs emphasizing computer science in a business setting. The Math/Science Concentration will transfer to baccalaureate programs emphasizing computing within scientific or engineering disciplines. The A.S. curriculums offered follow the recommendations of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the major professional society for computer scientists. Students are strongly encouraged to contact senior institutions to determine specific transfer requirements.
