David Allen’s Biography

David has taught math for 36 years at various levels. He started his teaching career in Anna–Jonesboro, his home town, then moved to Mascoutah High School and then to McLeansboro High School where he taught for 26 years. He has also coached baseball and basketball at different times in his career. He and his wife, Janellyn, live in Benton, where his wife taught home economics for 30 years. They have one son, Bradley, who graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in mechanical engineering and is now a second year medical student at Northwestern University in Chicago.
